Our Mission

The Evergreen Project aims to raise awareness around the topic of domestic violence, intimate partner violence and teen dating violence in the Seattle area. The Evergreen Projects seeks to provide women in need with cell phones necessary to contact emergency services, scholarships for victims children to attend summer camps, and to teach the importance of healthy relationships in local middle and high schools. 



  • Approximately 1.3 million women and 835,000 men are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States.  

  • 18-24 year-olds comprise only 11.7% of the population however, they were the majority of victims of violence committed by a boyfriend or girlfriend (42%). 

  • Physical aggression occurs in 1 in 3 teen dating relationships.
